FAQs

Orders and Payment

How do I pick the right size?

Measure first, then match your measurements against our Size Guide. Footwear is sold in US sizes for men and women, and the guide gives the matching foot length so you're comparing numbers rather than guessing. Measure your foot late in the day, standing, wearing the socks you plan to wear with the shoes. For bags, each product page lists dimensions so you can compare against something you already own.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Yes, within 24 hours of placing it, provided it hasn't shipped yet. Email support@meowlyshop.com with your order number and tell us exactly what you'd like changed or canceled. Once an order has shipped, your options are to refuse delivery or return it within 30 days.

What name appears on my card statement?

MEOWLYSHOP.COM — that's the statement descriptor on every order, on every card we accept. We take Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover in US dollars, as one-time payments with no recurring charges.

Why does my bank show an extra foreign transaction fee?

Our acquiring bank operates outside the United States, so some issuing banks add a foreign transaction fee of roughly 3%. That fee is charged by your own bank, not by us — we never see it and never receive it.

Shipping and Delivery

When does my order ship, and when will it arrive?

Handling takes 2-3 business days and transit takes 8-15 business days, for a total delivery window of 10-18 business days. Our order cutoff is 5:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday to Friday. Tracking becomes active 24-48 hours after dispatch.

How much is shipping?

A flat $7.90, free once your merchandise subtotal reaches $99 (after any discounts). We don't offer expedited shipping.

Do you ship outside the United States?

No — we deliver to the 48 contiguous United States only. We can't deliver to PO Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, or any address outside the US.

Why does my order ship from China?

Because that's where the goods already are. We're a curated retailer, not a manufacturer — we select and purchase finished goods from supply partners in China, and fulfillment partners there ship directly to customers. It keeps delivery timelines and costs reasonable.

Customs, Duties and Taxes

Will I pay customs or duties when my order arrives?

No. We ship DDP — Delivered Duty Paid. All US customs duties, import taxes, and carrier brokerage fees are already paid by us before your parcel reaches you. If a courier asks you to pay, don't — photograph the notice or payment request and email support@meowlyshop.com with your order number.

Do I pay US sales tax?

Currently, no separate sales tax line appears at checkout — the total shown before you submit payment is the total we bill. If we become required to collect sales tax in your state, it will be shown separately before payment.

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

Do I have to return items to China?

No. Returns go to our facility in Texas: meowlyshop Returns — CREATIVEMAKERS LIMITED, Returns Department, 700 E Plano Pkwy, Plano, TX 75074, United States. Request an RMA number first and write it on the parcel. You have 30 days from delivery to start a return or exchange.

Do I need to keep the shoe box?

Yes, for footwear — the original shoe box has to come back undamaged, and it can't be used as the shipping carton. The same goes for bags: items must be unused with original tags attached and packaging intact. Gift cards, final sale items, and custom products can't be returned.

Do you charge a restocking fee?

No, never. For items damaged or wrong due to our error, we provide a prepaid return label. For change-of-mind or wrong-size returns, you pay return postage and the original shipping fee isn't refunded.

How long do refunds take?

We process refunds within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect your return, back to your original payment method. Your bank may take an additional 3-10 days to post the funds.

My order arrived damaged. What now?

Tell us within 7 days of delivery, with photos of the damage plus the outer box and shipping label, to support@meowlyshop.com with your order number. We'll send a prepaid return label and replace or refund the item at no cost.

The color looks different from the photos — can I return it?

Yes, under our normal 30-day return rules with customer-paid postage. Some color variation is expected rather than a defect — screens differ, and the same photo can look warmer on a phone than a laptop. If the item is clearly the wrong color, that's treated as our error.

My bag's metal hardware has started to wear. Is that a fault?

Usually not. Buckles, clasps, zipper pulls, and base feet are plated metal, and plating thins where it rubs — against a belt buckle, a desk edge, keys in a pocket. That's normal wear over time and isn't covered by a return after the 30-day window. Actual failures, like a broken clasp or zipper, should be reported within 7 days.

How do I care for PU and faux leather?

Wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth and let it air dry away from radiators, heaters, and direct sunlight. Skip solvents, alcohol wipes, bleach, saddle soap, and the washing machine. Footwear should dry slowly at room temperature; store bags loosely stuffed with paper, away from sealed plastic and dark denim.
